We sent 22nd Street Coffee recently over to TGH labs today to help our workers on the frontlines. We will all get through this together with a cup of coffee by our side.
We sent this donation through Rising Tide Tampa Bay. Rising Tide is organized by the Melendi Family.
They have raised over $24,000 and use 100% of the funds donated by community members to directly purchase meals from locally-owned restaurants that are delivered to the heroes and victims in our community, including hospital workers, police and fire fighters, and the homeless.
Not only does his help keep businesses afloat, but it also supports Tampa residents who need it the most.
Rising Tide Tampa Bay has already served more than 500 frontline workers from 8+ local restaurants.
22 year-old Crosby Melendi told WFLA News about their efforts, "We were just trying to figure out a way to help the community in another way than just sitting on the couch".
